Reflections
Life, and Life Eternal
This world has heard of “Adam and Eve”, and even about the “flood of Noah”. All have either heard of it, or they have their own version of it (from dinosaurs to the “gods” of old). In every land and nation there is a story told of a “destruction”, a knowing that something terrible happened long ago, and that darkness came upon the whole earth.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:1-3)
For those who think this is just a “story” and not real, all they need to do is look around. We have the earth itself as proof that something happened; from deep under the waters, to the mountains and valleys above, to the “fossils” they find buried deep inside it all.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
“And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.” (Mark 1:17)
Even the very nature of people contains this proof, and is revealed through our very actions, to this day. People can deny this and turn away from God, even deny The Word of God, but can they deny their own conscience?
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
“And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” (Genesis 1:4)
True repentance is of the heart and comes from within, not outward appearances that deceive many. We repent inwardly and the outward eventually catches up with us all; either in this life or the life after in the eternal. It is not the dust that gives us life, but the Spirit within us.
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:3-5)
Our conscience gives us internal conviction deep within us to lead us to repentance, if we do not turn away from His Voice. All are born knowing the pure Truth of God within their heart, all know it is wrong to steal, murder and lie; we do not have to teach our children that.
It is the world that teaches corruption and to cover it up with confusion so all remain stuck under a mixture of light and darkness, with no True understanding of The Way of escape.
“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.” (John 6:32-34)
Sadly, many debate these things or think within themselves that it is not “really” wrong to steal, murder, or lie because in this world they must do some of those things just to survive, and that “god understands”.
Or some think they never do any of those things while denying what is hidden deep in their heart that desires what another has (covet), or seeks a way to take what another has (steal), or even thinks to remove what they do not like that others have (murder). So, we lie if we think we have none of these things within us, even in part, of that mark of sin within all the world.
Are we missing the Spirit of Truth if we cannot discern the Truth Spiritually in all these things?
“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.” (John 20:21-23)
This world cannot fix itself, just as we cannot fix our own nature or think to change it by our own works, strength, or wisdom. Only God can return His Breath upon us for a clean heart to Lift us all up from where we had fallen. Once we receive this Light of Truth within our heart then we start to see more and more clearly as we repent step by step, as each sin is revealed, one by one.
When we hear “go and sin no more” than simply go by Faith, one step at a time, one sin at a time as it is revealed by Jesus in our hearts by God’s sight, not by man who points outwardly by their own sight to say who and what they think is sin, or how or what we must do or not do to “save ourself”.
“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:1-3)
Jesus gives Life to our inward man by His Breath, His Word, so New Life is now growing, and our outward nature can be overcome day by day as the power of our flesh grows less and less while our inward man grows more and more.
Too many think to do this their own way, only seeking to grow their own nature more and more, as if somehow that is the way to conquer the inward issues; while others open up more and more to worship things they do not really know that promise salvation through their own “consciousness”.
When we Follow Jesus then He Lights The Way and reveals Truth so that we no longer remain inside the darkness that seeks to keep these things covered up and hidden so we never find the True Life.
“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” (1 John 5:20)
Whether we think to be righteous or filthy, all have been subjected to sin, under the “flood” of it, from the smallest to the greatest, even from the very beginning by what entered into this world through Adam, one man.
None can escape it, no matter how clean we think we are, we are not all clean or restored whole from what was taken from us in the beginning.
No one can change time, or think to go back and undo it, or think to make another way of their own outside it. God sent His Love to save us and restore us all, in One, in due season and time. He Returns His Breath upon us and Resurrects within us, unless we deny His Breath and choose to keep this worlds within us alive instead.
“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” (Luke 10:17-24)
“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.” (Revelation 21:23-27)

As we follow His leading with humility, anointing is released, in order His will may be done in our lives, hearts and minds, on Earth just as it is in Heaven. As you settle into a place of wholeness, in lack of nothing, save Him.
This is your Serendipity moment… Your date with the Divine, so to speak. All are worthy and invited to this table, as we gather together of one accord, for the purpose of glorifying Jesus in the Name of Love, Himself.
