"My Father has done great things for me..."

Reflections

Before and After the Flood - do not “turn back”

Remnants of wickedness can be found within our own heart and spread abroad to many places. If you are looking for giants, dragons, or aliens to appear, consider what is already around us; and within us.

Keeping “Egypt” in our heart is one example that can make us desolate, void of the Spirit of Truth to dwell within us. As Jesus said, the kingdom is within us, and there are many in this world to choose from, which one do you house within… the many gods of this world, or the One God in One Truth above all.

"To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt, Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him." (Acts 7:39-40)

"And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt." (Numbers 14:2-4)

Ancient Egypt’s abominations were systemic cruelty through enslavement and oppression. Decades before the Exodus, Pharaoh commanded that every newborn Hebrew boy be thrown into the Nile River because he feared the growing Israelite population. (We see this mindset continue centuries later when King Herod ordered the death of young boys around the time Jesus was born).

Pharaoh's profound arrogance was in direct defiance of God through pride and idolatry; and all this led to the Ten Plagues.

"He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence; And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham: But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock." (Psalm 78:50-52)

This world, and the princes of this world, are bound under the law of reap and sow, eye for an eye, whether they believe it or not, it simply is. Often this goes unseen and seems to be of no effect due to God’s long-suffering and Mercy to all, until the day and time it becomes real and seen.

Just as this outcome eventually came upon Egypt at that time, it continues to come upon other kingdoms of this world, each in their due season.

In Hebrew, the word for pig or swine is chazir (חֲזִיר), which comes from the root ח-ז-ר (ch-z-r). This root fundamentally means "to return" or "to turn back".

"But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire."

(2 Peter 2:22)

"And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it." (Luke 17:26-33)

Keeping “Egypt” in the heart is like remnants of the beast within, and God allows their space and time to continue to this day, to remove or gather all parts in the last time; revealing the hearts of all.

"I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time."

(Daniel 7:11-12)

"For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad." (Luke 8:17)

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13)

Kingdom ideologies remain within us, even over thousands of years, nations have conquered one another, and lines have been mixed and mingled together. All flesh and blood have been corrupted, none are clean or pure, as Jesus said… you will know them by their fruit, by what is within a person that comes out. And we are no different to this day, none are righteous, not one; only what we choose to house within us is the truth of us that eventually comes out, righteous or unrighteous.

"And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." (Revelation 11:8)

Ignorance causes man to think the “great ones” are strong and mighty in their flesh or deeds, or self-righteous in their own eyes. Instead of lifting up The Name of The Lord as the Savior of the world, they worship “mighty men of renown” and those who conquer others for gain, causing much idolatry or even angel worship; and many fall away to abominations that make us desolate in the end.

"And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite." (2 Samuel 24:16)

Mankind has a nature to think something is true when it turns out to be the opposite, while ignoring their own errors as they are pointing out others instead. True “great ones” are meek, humble, quick to receive correction, accepting their own errors, and serve others for no gain; and by their fruit you will know them. This world will not lift these up or follow their Way in all Truth and fullness, only those True and Faithful endure to the end, as a true witness to this testament of character.

"As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee." (1 Samuel 24:13)

David said this to King Saul when he had a perfect opportunity to kill Saul, who was hunting him down, but David chose to spare Saul's life to prove he was not evil or treasonous. David quoted this ancient proverb to show that a person's actions reveal their true character.

We wrestle daily, our own nature and desires, as we all come from different backgrounds and tendencies. We fight our own flesh to die to it daily in Christ Jesus, housing His Kingdom within us as we die to our own, and He will lift us up at the Last Day.

He will reveal all things and finish the work within all, and at the end of our season we rise up to reveal and make manifest who we really are, in all Truth, either risen to everlasting life, or everlasting condemnation; either way the Truth will be known.

"And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day." (John 6:39)

"And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." (Daniel 12:2)

Remnants of the “beast”, from before and after the flood, went out into all the world, stretched out in parts over all time, and once again all are corrupted.

Noah and his sons were from before the flood, and after it. Shem, Ham, and Japheth went out to replenish the world, and there was good but there was also evil, many of whom this world still admires as men of renown, mighty men; whose remnants are scattered out to the four corners of this world.

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." (1 John 2:16)

In general, the descendants of Ham went out, and many were full of great wickedness. (Genesis 10:6-20) From the Tower of Babel/Babylon to Nineveh, and many alike; known for their mighty warriors, idolatry, and master builders. (Leviticus 18:3-30) Mizraim is Egypt, ancient Egyptians, ultimately giving rise to the Philistines, and Put were known for their mercenary warriors and shield-bearers who allied with Egypt and Tyre. (Ezekiel 27:10) Out of Cannan came Sodom, and a great curse. (Genesis 9:25-27, Genesis 13:13, Genesis 19, Ezekiel 16:49-50)

Maybe you think Shem and Japeth are better than Ham?

The descendants of Shem are also part of the Assyrian, Chaldean, and Babylonian empires and many were notorious for their brutal conquests, widespread violence, magicians, sorceries, and imperial pride. (Genesis 10:22, Isaiah 10:5-7). Many of the Israelites (descendants of Shem) intermingled by intermarrying with the Canaanites and other local populations, which led them to adopt foreign religious practices (Judges 3:5-6), and even King Solomon intermarrying with women from various surrounding nations, blending different lineages and royal houses (1 Kings 11:1-2). Even the line of Jesus detailed in (Matthew 1) and (Luke 3) show ancestors with records of murder, adultery, and deceit (e.g., King David) as well as Gentiles with complex pasts. Jesus never praised the flesh of man, or the lines of them, but praised only The Father for The Marvelous work and The Word working through Him to save us all from it.

"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God." (Mark 10:18)

Japheth's line was set apart for "enlargement" and physical expansion, even the “Gentiles” (Genesis 10:5), but as they spread, Japheth’s line largely abandoned the knowledge of the true God. The ancient Greeks and Romans, for instance, developed vast mythological systems rooted in the worship of false gods. Their historical "enlargement" resulted in the rise of dominant empires. These nations, such as the Roman Empire, were frequently marked by cruelty, the subjugation of other peoples, and societal corruption. The modern and ancient philosophies emerging from Japheth's descendants often leaned toward humanism, self-reliance, and intellectual arrogance, elevating human reason above divine law. (Romans 1:18-23)

"Japheth shall dwell in the tents of Shem" (Genesis 9:27) is seen as a prophecy that Japheth's descendants (the Gentiles) would eventually be grafted into God's covenant of grace through faith.

Does that mean all of Ham’s line is wicked and cut off, or that Shem is the only chosen one; can we know or discern all the branches?

Considering that over millennia, all these descendants fell into various sins like idolatry, pride, and warfare. God has a way of leveling all things out; that none can boast above the other. God is no respecter of person, but made The Way of escape for all, to cover the sin of all the world, for all who believe upon Him and receive Him; but a warning was given to all who reject Him.

"Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight." (Matthew 11:20-26)

Some of God’s own people keep parts of evil in their hearts, even bringing it into their own “vessels”, houses, tent or tabernacle of their land. Wherever we place our feet is the land we are standing upon, and can be of a promise or a curse, depending what is placed upon our “feet”. If we consider the doctrine we live by is upon our feet, then it goes with us wherever we may be sent, and is the place we stand firm upon and trust upon, dwelling in, wherever we may go.

"Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

(Romans 9:18-33)

Consider repenting from the endless genealogies of man and realize in this last time all are known by their fruit, spiritually, in Spirit and Truth; for God is the only Judge, and we are not. One can be grafted in while another cut off, only to be grafted back in later. All flesh and blood are corrupted, over thousands of years. We are known by our character, what comes out of us, what kingdom do we hold within us that comes out?

"God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." (Acts 17:24-28)

If all is corrupted then all can be saved, born again, in Spirit and Truth, and Jesus paid the price to cover the sin for all, not just for some small parts we think are worthy, let God be the judge, for man knows nothing unless God reveals it.

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)

Not all flesh is the same, we all have different natures we wrestle with, each to their own measure. One may have to wrestle daily to the lust of the flesh within them to fight and conquer, while another may have to wrestle with their desire to just hide away in fear.

"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here." (Matthew 12:40-42)

Consider the Gentiles, and even some of their leaders and rulers, (like the queen of the south), that come from all corners now being drawn to The Word of God and His Gospel of The Kingdom. Or consider those who refuse to come even still after so much time, centuries of Ambassadors sent to all lands to speak and share The Word of God and the marvelous works of God for all to know.

Or consider Jonah, called to preach a warning to Nineveh, one of the harshest places for someone like Jonah to go to. He first ran the other way sailing the opposite direction in a vessel on the sea until God sent a storm, had the men cast Jonah overboard, then had a “sea beast” swallow Jonah only to eventually deliver him up onto the land three days later where he was meant to continue on, in Nineveh. We may be lukewarm in our Faith and boldness, but God has a Way of getting us to the other side eventually.

Jonah may not have done right at first, but once God moved him to the destination, eventually he did do and say what The Lord commanded him to do. However, pride and bitterness crept in afterward, when God showed Mercy while Jonah was sitting back waiting and watching for destruction. This is a two-fold lesson for all, revealing Jonah doing as commanded but his heart was still far from God’s own heart. Our own hedge of protection can be eaten away in one night by this type of “worm”, and we can suffer under the heat of the same sun afterward to learn Mercy and Grace is better for all first.

Nineveh was spared this time around, given space to repent and they did out of fear and commandment from their own king who had the knowledge of God from what happened before in Egypt. Sadly, we can see how this knowledge falls away over time, and Jesus speaks specifically of the men of Nineveh and how they repented, but how they would rise up in this last time as witness against those who refuse to repent now, in the last time.

Jesus also speaks of those whose worm is not killed and gives a woe and a warning for this. God works to prepare our hearts, not just service in mind only. If our heart is not right, then when something comes upon the land where will we be found? Still out to sea going the opposite direction, or under the shade of a hedge with bitterness and a worm waiting to eat away what we have in one night?

"But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:42)

We continue with Him through these first parts so we learn Mercy and Faith is preferred, and we are refined by His Fire so that in the last part we may be found with an upright heart and mind as One, and our covering is His Everlasting Love and Mercy that endures to the end and is not taken away to be eaten by a worm when the night comes.

"But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

(Matthew 9:13)

"For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."

(Hosea 6:6)

The Way

Walking it out... Moments of Serendipity

Ring of Fire Ministries is dedicated to love, embrace and uplift those who are hurting and in need of an everlasting healing touch, which is authentic and pure. It is my prayer that you will be blessed, as you experience the divine touch of the Holy Spirit, letting Him permeate your soul into wholeness, through His gentle leading and embrace.

The purity of love is the commonality the Body of Christ increasingly shares on a deeper level, more than ever before imagined or conceived.  Join with us on this journey, to not only fully receive His love to overflowing, but also in pouring that same pure love out to others precisely and perfectly while forsaking self.

As we follow His leading with humility, anointing is released, in order His will may be done in our lives, hearts and minds, on Earth just as it is in Heaven.  As you settle into a place of wholeness, in lack of nothing, save Him.

This is your Serendipity moment… Your date with the Divine, so to speak. All are worthy and invited to this table, as we gather together of one accord, for the purpose of glorifying Jesus in the Name of Love, Himself.

Please be at liberty to explore, at your good pleasure, the various resources made available to compliment and enrich your walk with our Lord Jesus and with those who you cherish and love.

May growth be enough, while Jesus is your primary heart's desire.

Love came down… His Name is Jesus.
