Reflections
Defining error and keeping centered on Jesus
Jesus speaks of having eyes to see but still not able to see, and having ears to hear but still not able to hear; have we considered this for ourselves in all Truth?
“Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?” (Job 38:36)
It has become easy to eat and drink from many tables in this world, like a large buffet on a broad platform speaking and showing many things. By what lens are we using when we take it in, or do we even have one?
“The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.” (Luke 11:34-35)
If what you take in causes you confusion and fear, that is torment, and you should lay it down and consider fasting and prayer by filling with The Word of God seeking understanding from above. If what you take in leaves you needing more with endless searching and never satisfied, that is lust, and you should cut it off by seeking first to be fulfilled by The Word of God from above. Either side is off balance and can reveal to you the source of what you are taking in, or the foundation you are standing upon when doing so. All these things can show us “where we are” in Truth.
“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:”
(Matthew 6:20)
“Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.” (Luke 12:33)
Strongholds are things we place highest, we lift up and look upon, or even a placement or lens we look out from. There can be many things we lift up or look upon in fear or even in admiration; either way we are giving worship to what we place highest in our mind and the desires of our heart we are seeking out.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.” (Matthew 13:44)
We are to fear The Lord God in Love and Reverence so that nothing else can be lifted up in this placement, for there is nothing higher or even beside The Lord God, all things are beneath Him.
“Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.”
(Mark 10:21)
We are to have only One High Tower we abide within and rest upon. We cannot abide and serve in multiple towers or think to keep building a tower of our own higher to be placed next to God. We are blind if we think to see or measure by our own sight or by our own strength, no matter how high we think we are.
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
(Matthew 7:24-27)
If we are rooted and grounded in The Lord, then we have His sight and placement through The Spirit of Truth who discerns and guides and teaches us by granting us understanding in the heart. This type of understanding is a gift from God and not of man, raised up by The Lord’s work in our hearts. Without God giving us this we cannot see or hear to understand, no matter how wise we think we are in our own mind.
“My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.” (Psalm 49:3)
With an understanding heart granted from The Lord God above we are no longer moved by anything we hear or see here below. Man’s highest towers are still far below in a pit of their own mind, for even those building at the very top of the sides thinking to be so much higher than all others, they are foolish and cannot see they are still in a pit, blinded to see “where they are” in Truth until The Lord God uncovers it and reveals it to draw all out of it.
“Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.” (Deuteronomy 8:5)
What we fear, admire, and reverence, we honor, serve, and worship.
It is that simple.
“(For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by; And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:) Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven.”
(Deuteronomy 29:16-20)
When we are rooted and grounded, abiding in The Word of God, we can hear and see all things of this world and not be moved by any of it, however, much known much required. As we grow in The Lord we learn not to be so quick to judge, quick to speak, or quick to think we are wise. In fact, the more The Lord God reveals to us the more we realize how wrong we are and how much higher His Way is than ours, and His thoughts than ours.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9)
Let us continue with the Mind of Christ, renewed Mind of Salvation sealed in Him, a gift from God not of man, so that having Peace with God we can lay our own mind down with Christ and enter into His rest to lean on Him and no longer our own mind. Upon this foundation The Lord God can grant us an understanding heart so that we may grow up in Him now and be made whole, no longer being tossed back and forth calling evil good and good evil, divided in hardened hearts and a mind with no peace.
“This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”
(Ephesians 4:17-19)
We seek to be restored back to Godly order, healed and converted, rooted and grounded that we may grow up in Him, from the good soil that we have laid down upon. At The Cross we die with Christ so He may rise us up a new, transforming all things into understanding so that we may point to Him and say this is who and what we waited upon, His Words coming to pass, so that whatever comes upon the world we lift up the Name of The Lord and we point to His Word and say He told us all these things would come, and are coming, and shall come, and we can finally see clearly now and understand, for He told us beforehand what would come in the last times.
“Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.”
(1 Corinthians 4:5)
We lift up The Word of God as our High Tower, and in this heavenly placement we may see clearly all The Lord Jesus opens up to us. As we see and point to Him, we hear and point to Him, for The Word of God already declared all these things shall come but to Rest in Him, Trust Him, and this Peace with God far exceeds anything we face here below, for it is all beneath Him and under His foot where the Gospel of Peace through Jesus Christ prevails and overcomes the world, even the law of sin and death.
“But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” (1 Peter 3:14-16)
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)

Join with us on this journey, to not only fully receive His love to overflowing, but also in pouring that same pure love out to others precisely and perfectly while forsaking self.
As we follow His leading with humility, anointing is released, in order His will may be done in our lives, hearts and minds, on Earth just as it is in Heaven. As you settle into a place of wholeness, in lack of nothing, save Him.
This is your Serendipity moment… Your date with the Divine, so to speak. All are worthy and invited to this table, as we gather together of one accord, for the purpose of glorifying Jesus in the Name of Love, Himself.
